Fowey Aquarium
Fowey Aquarium is located in Fowey, Cornwall. It is home to a collection of fish, shellfish and sea life from around the Cornish coast. The aquarium includes a touch pool which is very popular with children. First opened in 1952 it still retains many of its original tanks.
Located on the historic Fowey Town Quay the aquarium offers a fascinating glimpse into the local marine life. Most fish are obtained from local fishermen and include conger eel, brill, turbot, pollack, bass, bream and more.
There are a variety of crabs and lobster on display and although it’s not the biggest aquarium in the world it is recommended that you look around more than once as every visit is different.
