Frensham Great Pond
Frensham Great Pond is an inland beach area located in Farnham, Surrey. It is located in a park of around 922 acres that consists of dry and wet heath, some woodland, scrubs and ponds and is owned by the National Trust.
There are certain parts of the Great Pond with marked areas where you are allowed to swim. It is very popular in nice weather and the car park can usually be full by 10 am so make sure you arrive early to avoid disappointment.
There are two ponds with car parks at each plus refreshments and toilets, including wheelchair-accessible facilities. No paddleboarding or large inflatables are permitted and swimming is only permitted in the Great Pond within the marked areas. No swimming is permitted at Frensham Little Pond. There is also a sailing club on the Great Pond.
