Things to do at Galgorm Castle Fairy Trail
The trail is the first of its kind in the UK or Ireland and it first launched in 2017. It is a magical experience and the enchanting outdoor Fairy trail has been beautifully constructed. The trail weaves through the estate and has unique hand-crafted characters and features along the route.
Head for Toadstool cottage when you arrive at the castle grounds. Visitors will be met by one of their friendly staff members who will hand you an interactive map which invites you to solve a range of clues. The trail usually takes 2 hours to complete and you will see a troll swamp, fairy houses, a lost fair village, a wizard school and more.
There are fourteen points along the trail where you need to solve clues. Throughout the year they often have seasonal, events, with extra activities. Plus they also have a craft workshop and they can host your child’s birthday party.

There is a cafe and restaurant in the castle park serving food and drinks. You are welcome to picnic outdoors.
