Glenshee Ski Centre

The Glenshee Ski Centre is located near Ballater in Aberdeenshire. It is an alpine snowsports area in the Scottish Highlands. The centre is located above the Cairnwell Pass at the head of Glen Shee.

Over the winter they are open for snowsports and in the summer they open their Summer Chairlift, weather permitting. Skiers and snowboarders can enjoy a range of slopes and they offer the most extensive choice in Scotland.

They also welcome sledges when the snow is thick on the ground. You can do this for just £5 for parking which is payable online. They also offer ski lessons including disability sessions.

There are three cafes serving food and drinks.

What are the main things to do?

Ski centre with skiing and snowboarding for all abilities, lessons are available and the chairlift is even open in the summer. There are toilets and cafes.

What are the ticket prices?

A lift pass costs £32 for an adult for the day and £21 for a junior. Lessons cost from £60.
Prices are subject to change and/or discounts online.

Is there parking?

There is parking although they can get very busy at peak times. Parking is payable online and you need to print off a voucher to display in your car.

When are they open?

They are open for skiing when there is a good covering of snow. The chairlift is later open in the summer. For up-to-date opening times and dates please visit their website.
