Gnoll Country Park

Gnoll Country Park

Gnoll Country Park is located near the centre of Neath in South Wales. It is a large 230-acre park and it’s a lovely place for a family-friendly day out.

The park has an early 18th-century landscaped garden that covers over 100 acres. The estate was once the property of the Mackworth family and there are a few traces remaining of the house. The park features lakeside and woodland walks. There is a restored formal cascade, a grotto and ponds. Make sure you take some duck food or you can buy some from the visitor centre.

The park also has an adventure playground and you can try and spot some of the remains of the estate buildings including an ice house, tower and fishpond house. There is also a 9-hole pitch and putt golf course and there are a number of waymarked paths.
