Go Ape at Sherwood Pines, Nottinghamshire is set in the heart of the forest, next to the visitor centre. There are a few challenges including The Treetop Challenge, Treetop Adventure, Treetop Adventure Plus, Forest Segway and Nets Adventures.

Things to do at Go Ape Sherwood review

Treetop Challenge – Focus on your own goals as you climb, swing and charge through this particularly challenging set of high ropes obstacles. An adjustable difficulty level means this course will always feel fresh. The challenge takes 2 to 3 hours to navigate your way around. There is a minimum age of 10 years and a minimum height of 1.4m.

Treetop adventure – With intricate crossings, wobbly bridges and great zip-wire rides, all designed with the younger family in mind. There is no minimum age, however, there is a minimum height of 1m. Duration 1 hour.

Treetop Adventure Plus – This is great for teenagers wanting to push themselves a bit further. It is designed for children above 1.2m and 6 years of age. The course includes the Treetop adventure plus an extension that includes more challenging obstacles, higher platforms and a longer zip wire. Duration 1 hour.

Nets adventures – With treehouses, netted walkways, bouncy nets and inflatable balls all 30 feet above the forest floor. This is great family-friendly fun. Duration 2 hours. Minimum age 1 year.

Forest Segways – Heavy-duty all-terrain Segways on spectacular off-road trails. Duration 1 hour. There is no minimum height/age, however, there is a minimum weight of 45kg/7st.

There is a cafe serving hot and cold food and drinks.

High rope courses that are set in the forest with net adventures and Segways. Plus there are walking and cycling trails, a child-friendly activity trail and play areas. There are toilets and a cafe.
