Great British Car Journey
The Great British Car Journey is a museum located near Ambergate in Derbyshire. They celebrate Britain’s contribution to popular motoring with over 140 carefully chosen vehicles to help tell the story.
What can you do at Great British Car Journey?
Their cars range from the days of the Austin Seven up to the latest McLaren. You will be guided around the museum by the latest technology. There is a fully interactive audio-visual guide and there are some fun activities on offer for kids.
The basic journey can be completed in less than 90 minutes. Other cars include a collection of Minis, Austin Allegro, Morris Marina, Reliant Robin and many more. As long as it was built in Britain they should hopefully have that car on display. You can even drive a Great British Classic from £49 (this includes one free, adult museum entrance).
