Grey's Court National Trust
Grey’s Court is a National Trust property near Henley-On-Thames in Oxfordshire. It is a Tudor country house with gardens. It is a relatively small property but it welcomes families and it’s a beautiful place to spend a few hours.
What is there to do at Grey’s Court National Trust?
Within the grounds, you will find a walled garden, an ornamental vegetable garden, a maze (at ground level which kids will love running around and you don’t need to worry about not being able to see them) and an ice house. There is also a fortified tower that was built around the mid-14th century which is the only remains of the medieval castle that once stood there (you can see this but it’s not open to exploring). The wider estate has a choice of walks.
There is a play area near the cafe with den building and a play frame. You can look around the house that stands today which is a Grade 1 listed building parts of which date back to the mid-17th century. There are tours in the morning and then you can explore at your leisure in the afternoon.
