Things to do at Gunby Estate Hall and Gardens
They host many family-friendly events, throughout the year, especially during the school holidays. The hall has eight acres of gardens to explore from sheltered walled corners to sweeping lawns. A lot of time, care and attention go into their gardens, they are simply stunning.
When open the house itself can also be explored. It is not too big and has a very homely feel to it. There are guides in the rooms to answer your questions.
There are plenty of opportunities for walks in the Gunby Estate. You could take a walk to their ice house pond or venture further afield to the remains of Bratoft Manor (a 4-mile walk). The parkland doesn’t have a playpark but kids will have plenty of space for stretching their legs and exploring.
