Haltwhistle Swimming and Leisure Centre

The Haltwhistle Swimming and Leisure Centre are located in the Greencroft area of Haltwhistle, Northumberland. They are located in the heart of Hadrian Wall Country and they have a range of facilities with something for all the family.

There is a sports hall which can accommodate a number of sports and three seasonal, outdoor swimming pools. Plus there is a gym, an astroturf tennis court and a fitness studio. Next to the pool, there is also an adventure play area and a picnic area.

The three outdoor pools are heated and they are open from mid-April until early September. There is a 25-metre pool, a learner pool and a paddling pool with fun toys for toddlers, and babies. There is also a giant flume which operates at regular intervals during the day. They also run a range of swimming lessons. The sports hall and swimming pools are available for private party hire with several party packages to choose from.

There is a cafe serving food and drinks. You are welcome to picnic outdoors.

Swimming – Adults £9.50, juniors £8.00. Other pricing options are available and other activities are priced separately.

When are they open?
