Hayfield Riding otherwise known as Hayfield Equestrian Centre is located near Aberdeen in Aberdeenshire. They are situated within the grounds of Hazlehead Park and they provide pleasure riding and tuition for riders of all standards.

They are run as a non-profit making member club and they offer a great service at very reasonable prices. The club caters for everyone from young children to professional riders and trainers. They are one of the best-equipped Equestrian centres in Scotland. Their Walkies sessions are suitable for children aged 3-7 years. It includes a walk through the woods on a well-behaved pony led by an experienced escort. Walkies last for half an hour and parents may walk out with the rider.

They also offer paddock hacks which are great if you have little or no experience. You will start by walking in the paddock and once everyone is happy you will head out for a quiet walk around the forest. When you return to the paddock you can even have a go at trotting. They also offer off-road hacking for the more confident riders.

You have to be a member to ride which costs £60 annually for a family. You can also purchase a 3-month honeymoon membership for £1. 1/2 hour walkies costs £14, lessons from £24.
