The Healey’s Cornish Cyder Farm can be found near Truro, Cornwall. They are a traditional cider brewing company that offers tours and a free sample plus there are farm animals that children can pet.

Things to do at Healey’s Cornish Cyder Farm

Families are recommended to book their family Cydermaster tour. You will unearth the Healey’s secret to making the best Cornish cyder, these tours are limited to 20 people and dogs are not permitted. The tour also includes a tractor ride.

The tractor-trailer ride will take you around part of their 20-acre orchards and your trailer is pulled by their 1950s Fordson Major tractor. You will see the apple pressing house and its impressive vats. There is then a detailed tour of their production halls. Finally, kids can try their apple juice and adults can try their cyder. The tour lasts for around 50 minutes.

Kids will love meeting their friendly farm animals including shire horses, chickens, rabbits, pygmy goats, Cornish black pigs and more. They also run seasonal events including PYO pumpkins.

Dog friendly?

Friendly dogs on a lead are very welcome at Healey’s! There are two small exclusions, dogs are not permitted in the production halls (including the family tour) or in the jam kitchen for hygiene purposes.
