Hemsley Conservation Centre
Hemsley Conservation Centre is a small zoo located in Fairseat, Kent, They are home to over 40 species of animals and there may be some that you have never heard of. The zoo offers its visitors the chance to see some of the world’s most endangered, least understood and underrepresented species.
They believe that getting people closer to wildlife in a safe, fun, yet educational manner is the best way to inspire people about wild animals, their habitats and conservation. Their animals include a toucan, squirrel monkeys, marmosets, porcupines and cats. Plus there are lemurs, otters, meerkats, wallabies, kinkajous and so much more. There is no playground as their only focus is their animals.
They offer animal experiences from half an hour to a full day. Experiences include meeting the meerkats, the lemurs, the porcupine VIP, the otter VIP, the armadillo VIP, the big bug VIP and more. They also have a junior keeper experience. Please note that there are minimum age requirements for their experiences, details can be found online.
