Holly Hagg Community Farm Alpacas is a not-for-profit farm in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. You can walk their alpacas through the valley and see some of their other animals, including mini pigs, poultry and llamas.

What can you do at Holly Hagg Community Farm Alpacas?

The popular alpaca treks are provided at low cost and in some circumstances free of charge. You can even walk their llamas and treks are run four times a week. They are very popular and can book up quickly so please check online for availability. Tickets are released on a rolling basis 60 days in advance.

They currently are only allowing visitors for their alpaca or llama treks. The treks will take you through the woodlands of the Rivelin valley and the country panes around the farm. You must be moderately fit as you will be leading a large animal along rough paths with some steep and rocky bits. The whole experience takes around an hour and a half.

Children aged 10 and over may walk their own alpaca but must be accompanied by an adult in the group. Children age 6 and over are encouraged to help walk an alpaca with an adult and under 6s may only walk on a family ticket and one adult must also be in control of the alpaca.
