Home Front Museum

Museum Overview

The Home Front Museum is located in Llandudno in Conwy, North Wales. It features exhibits depicting life for civilians during WWII including recreations of shops and homes.

You can experience the sights and sounds of civilian life during the Second World War at this unique indoor attraction. The building dates back to the mid-19th century and it was originally a working garage. It was requisitioned during the war by the Auxiliary Fire Service. It reverted back to a garage after the war and was acquired in 1999 to house the museum.

It is a small museum crammed full of items, sights and sounds of the era. In this unique living history museum take a self-guided tour and explore 6 years of war on the home front captured in shops, room displays and tableaux.
