Hopefield Animal Sanctuary is located near Brentwood in Essex. It sits on 53 acres of beautiful countryside and it cares for around 500 sick, unwanted and mistreated animals.

Things to do at Hopefield Animal Sanctuary

The sanctuary’s mission is to help animals, in need and provide education and awareness for humane behaviour towards all animals. Their animals, live out their lives in peace, surrounded by love and receiving the best care.

You can visit the sanctuary and meet many of its animals. You can take a gentle stroll and see a great range of animals. Kids can take the Hopefueld trail and test their animal knowledge. Due to the numerous medical conditions of many of their animals, you are not allowed to feed any of their animals.

Animals you can see include donkeys, reindeer, ponies, parrots, raccoons and goats. Plus alpacas, meerkats, sheep, birds of prey, pigs and more.

There is a cafe serving food and drinks. You are welcome to bring a picnic.
