Horsforth Hall Park

Horsforth Hall Park

Horsforth Hall Park and Japanese Gardens are located in Horsforth near Leeds, West Yorkshire. It is not the biggest park in Leeds but it’s nice for a walk and ideal for families as it’s pretty flat. The park is about six miles north-west of Leeds city centre.

Things to do at Horsforth Hall Park

There are a number of attractions and facilities at the park. You can enjoy scenic walks and there are often special events over the summer. There is a trim trail, basically an outdoor gym and a Japanese garden.

Kids will love the skate park and the integrated play facility plus the Spider’s web playground. This integrated play area has been designed to allow disabled and able-bodied children under the age of 8 to play together (that saying there are currently no disabled toilets). The Spiders web is for older children and it has been a valuable improvement to the park.

Walking through the Japanese garden is like being transported somewhere new. There is a large pond with colourful koi carp. It is a little piece of Eden and there is a beautiful red arched bridge. It’s a blissful escape.
