The Huntly Nordic Ski Club, otherwise known as the Huntly Nordic and Outdoor Centre is located in Huntly, Aberdeenshire.
They offer a purpose-built all-weather facility for nordic skiing and other activities. They hire out cross country skis and roller skis with boots and poles for use on their all-weather ski mat and also their roller ski track. Their smallest skis are 90cm which is suitable for a 2-year-old and their smallest boots are euro size 26 or a UK size 8 junior.
You can also hire a bike from their range of mountain and trail bikes for both adults and children. You can cycle straight from the centre or go to other cycle routes nearby. You can also hire balance bikes for £5. Public tubing sessions are also available at this venue. This is recommended from the age of 4, however, younger ages are allowed to take part by sitting on an adult’s knee. You must bring your own cycle helmets.
