Ice Arena Wales

The Ice arena is located in the centre of Cardiff in South Wales. It is an ice hockey rink with public skating sessions in the Cardiff International Sports Village. It opened in 2016 and it has two ice rinks and a seating capacity for over 3,000 spectators.

All public sessions must be booked online in advance. They have a number of public sessions each week and all of their family tickets include skate hire. Individuals will need to add the hire of skates onto their booking if they are needed.

They also offer learn-to-skate sessions. These are available to everyone and anyone. They can even host your child’s birthday party and they also hold family disco sessions, toddler play sessions and more. You can also book to watch one of their exciting ice hockey matches. Ice Arena Wales is the official home of the Cardiff Devils Ice Hockey Team who play in the professional British Elite Ice Hockey League.
