What is there to do at Ilfracombe Aquarium?

Ilfracombe Aquarium is an award-winning attraction that is much-loved and great for families. It is conveniently located in the Old Lifeboat House on the pier and surrounded by the historic harbour. Up to 75 species of local aquatic species can be seen in their lovingly cared-for, living exhibits.

Inside you will explore a unique journey from the source of an Exmoor stream, down river to the lake, pond, estuary, local rockpool, harbour and coast and out to Lundy Island and its marine reserve. Child-friendly quiz trails are available and these are free.

They have daily feeding demonstrations, animal encounters and viewing stools for little ones. Experienced guides are in attendance and there are also some interactive displays.
