Ings Park Alpacas
Ings Park Alpacas is located in North Cave, close to Brough, in East Yorkshire. They offer alpaca trekking, events, and more. What started with a small herd of alpacas is slowly growing and now you can enjoy a stroll with their furry friends.
What can you do at Ings Park Alpacas?
They are great for families and each of their alpacas has its very own unique personality. They have two different types of alpaca walks available. There is the farm walk which is more suitable for families with younger children.
It consists of a meet and greet with the alpacas including feeding them in their paddock. You can then help herd the alpacas as a team, learn how to catch them and put on their head collar if you’re feeling brave. You can then take them for a walk where you will learn more about them, have plenty of photo opportunities and truly get to know their alpacas. Those under 12 must be accompanied by an adult and purchase the Parent and child walk. Children under 5 are free.
There is also the adventure Trek. This is with their male alpacas and the walk will take you next to parkways, over farmers fields and bridleways. The experience will get you more out in the countryside for a long afternoon trek with their alpacas. The trek takes around 2-3 hours and you will be able to feed and walk the alpacas.
