Inveraray Castle
Inveraray Castle is located in Inveraray, Argyll and Bute. It is an iconic Scottish Castle situated on the shores of Loch Fyne, Scotland’s longest sea loch. The castle is one of the earliest examples of Gothic Revival architecture and has been the seat of the Dukes of Argyll, chiefs of Clan Campbell since the 18th century.
The castle is open to visitors and inside there is an impressive collection of more than 1,300 pikes, muskets, swords and other weapons. The family still live in parts of the castle which is a Category A listed building. There are a number of rooms you can look around including a Victorian room, gallery, bedroom and state dining room. You can even go down into the basement and see the old kitchen
There is a massive estate which includes a 16-acre garden. A few walking routes have been specially selected which allow visitors to explore parts of the estate and you can admire the amazing panorama. You can also enjoy a walk around the gardens.

What are the ticket prices?
Adult garden and house tickets cost £14.50 per person and £10.50 for children aged 5-15. Under 5s are free. Tickets just for the gardens are cheaper.
