IOM National Sports Centre
The IOM National Sports Centre is located in Douglas on the Isle of Man. It has a range of sports facilities including a large multi-sports centre and athletics stadium.
There is a 25-metre swimming pool plus a leisure pool. The leisure area has a beach pool, a flow pool and 2 longer, faster flumes which have been designed with contrasting coloured translucent stripes inside to create a ‘warp tunnel’ effect when in use. The shallow leisure pool and ‘Coral Cove’ splash zone feature water jets and a smaller side perfect for younger visitors.
Other indoor facilities include two large sports halls that are suitable for various sporting needs including squash courts and the island’s only indoor bowls hall. Outdoors is the 400m, 6 lane fully floodlit synthetic running track.
