The Isle of Wight Steam Railway is a heritage railway in Havenstreet on the Isle of Wight. The railway journeys on 5.5 miles of track from Smallbrook Junction to Wootton station.
What is there to do at Isle of Wight Steam Railway?
On board one of their majestic steam trains you can enjoy the unspoilt countryside. You can experience the golden age of travel in one of their beautifully restored Victorian and Edwardian carriages. In the Train Story museum, you can experience the sights, sounds and atmosphere of over 150 years of railway history. There are carriages to see and their collection of rare rolling stock. You can even stop onboard some for a closer look. There’s dress-up for the kids and plenty of interactive exhibits.
At Havenstreet station you can stretch your legs and venture through the woodland walk. There are cheeky messages and whimsical characters along the way plus you may be lucky enough to see a performance on their woodland stage. Plus there is a play area for the kids and for an additional charge you can visit the Haven Falconry Bird of Prey Centre.

Tickets are cheaper if purchased online in advance. An adult standard return ticket online costs £14.50, children 5-17 £7.25. Other pricing options including family tickets and first class tickets are available.
