JandJ Alpacas
JandJ Alpacas are an outdoor alpaca trekking centre located in Dry Doddington near Newark, Nottinghamshire. They offer a number of alpaca experiences for different age groups.
They want to provide everyone with a different option when it comes to finding fun activities to do. They have a meet-and-greet alpaca experience. This is a 20-minute talk where you can watch the alpacas in their paddocks. You will walk around with your guide and you will be able to feed their alpacas using colourful scoops and there is plenty of opportunities for selfies.
You can also take one of their alpacas for a walk. Alpaca trekking takes place through their small woodland and past their ponds. This is an hour-long experience with their trained guides. You will be able to walk your alpaca, feed them and take lots of photos. Children and adults aged 13+ can lead an alpaca of their own. Children aged 8-12 must lead an alpaca with an accompanying adult using a double lead. Under-8s can’t take part in these walks.
Their alpaca centre and coffee shop are great places to relax and enjoy the view of their alpacas. You can then head outside on their alpaca trail and woodland wander. Their woodland wander can be enjoyed at any time and it gives you the free, dom to see the wildlife through the different seasons.
