Museum Overview
The Jersey Museum and Art Gallery is located in Liberation Station, Saint Helier, on the Channel Island of Jersey. The museum charts Jersey’s history from the Ice Age to WWII.
On the ground floor, you can watch their Story of Jersey film and look around the permanent display of around 100 objects. There is also the Aspiring Jersey Island Geopark visitor centre. This is a hub for information on exploring Jersey to see how geology has shaped and influenced the Island. The ground floor is free, to visit.
Upstairs there is a charge to visit the museum and art gallery. You can hear the local dialect of Jerriais (Jersey-French) and the island’s link to the English Crown. Plus you can learn about the traditional farming industry and find out more about Jersey’s prosperity.
