Jesus Green Lido

Lido Overview
The Jesus Green Lido is located in the Jesus Green area of Cambridge. The outdoor swimming pool was opened in 1923 and it is one of the few remaining examples of the lidos built across the country in the 1920s.
It is open for public swimming between May and September. The swimming pool is not heated so wetsuits, although not compulsory, are strongly recommended as water temperatures can be below 14 degrees.
The Lido is located alongside the River Cam opposite Chesterton Road between Jesus Lock and Victoria Avenue Bridge. On-site there is a newly built sauna and places to sunbathe. The pool is long and thin to mimic the nearby river.
