Karting North East
Karting North East is an outdoor go-karting venue located near Sunderland in Tyne and Wear. They have 3 different racing circuits of different lengths.
The outdoor karting track is 1,200 metres in length, there is an 850m family circuit and they also have a 350m junior circuit. Children can drive one of their karts from the age of 8 and they also have twin karts. This means that children aged 5-7 who are unable to drive themselves can take part in the action with an adult driving them around.
They run sessions just for families that include children aged 8-13 racing with their adults or sessions for ages 14+. Drivers aged 8-11 must complete an induction session at their centre to be eligible to join in with their family sessions. Sessions last for 15-30 mins.
Other on-site activities include paintball, archery and tomahawks. 2-hour paintball sessions are for ages 16+. Archery and Tomahawks (axe throwing) are for ages 12+. They can also host your child’s birthday party for ages 8-12 and ages 12-14 plus kids’ splatmaster paintball parties for ages 8-12 or 12-16.

Family sessions – 15 mins £25 pp, 30 mins £40 pp, induction sessions £25 per child. Twin seater sessions £35 for 15 mins and £50 for 30 mins. Other pricing options are available.
