The award-winning family-friendly historic gardens are known for their relaxed charm, overflowing borders and a walled garden with a dahlia collection. They are designated by English Heritage as Grade II* listed. They are open for visitors from April until September. Children will love the fairy garden.
You can also visit the Hall on most days when the gardens are open. You can access rooms on the ground floor including the library, Chinese room, Drawing Room, great hall, dining rooms and more. There are also newly opened bedrooms and exhibitions upstairs plus the below-stairs servant’s quarter where visitors have the chance to experience Victorian working life.
