Lake District Wildlife Park has over 100 species of exotic animals, within a 24-acre park near Keswick in Cumbria.

Things to do at Lake District Wildlife Park

Animals at the park include wild and domestic birds, mammals and reptiles. Their birds include eagles, owls, vultures, hawks and more. Mammals at the park include gibbons, lemurs, meerkats zebra, otters and tapirs. Plus yak, lynx, goats, red pandas, donkeys, sheep, alpacas and more.

They also have daily events and activities including animal talks and a bird of prey display. There is a relatively new animal-themed adventure playground with things to play, swing and slide on. Everything is made out of wood in keeping with the natural feel around the park.

Experiences are also available including alpaca walking, hawk walks, meet the meerkats and lemur encounters. Plus they have an ultimate animal experience and you can adopt an animal. These are for different age ranges.

An adult ticket costs £10.50, children £8.50 and children aged under 3 are free. Other pricing options including season tickets and family passes are available.
