Lamont Farm Project
The Lamont Farm Project is located near Eskrine in Renfrewshire, near Glasgow, Scotland. They are a vibrant community and animal welfare project open to the public.
The farm was founded in 1977 and opened in 1979 and was Scotland’s first city-based farm. They run fundraising schemes throughout the year including being a farmer for a day, animal sponsorship, pony care and more.
You can meet a wide variety of animals including llamas, horses, pigs, sheep and goats. Plus small furry animals, and a reptile room. They try their best to rehome as many animals as they can. If they can’t find a forever home then those animals stay with them which means they have an evergrowing family of new and different animals.
