Lavenham Falconry

Lavenham Falconry is a centre where visitors are given the opportunity to fly and learn about their birds of prey. They are located in Monks Eleigh, near Ipswich, Suffolk. The centre is open for experience sessions with their birds.

They have around 9 experiences to choose from. There is a 1-hour falconry experience where you will get to fly two of their birds to your glove. Adults and children can take part from the age of 2. Another experience is their 2-hour owl encounter. You will have the opportunity to handle and fly a variety of their owls. This experience is also suitable for ages 12+.

If you want to spend longer with their birds they have a half-day bird of prey experience. This is a step up from their one-hour experience and you will be able to fly a variety of birds of prey over a 3-hour session. You can also book a hawk walk which is for adults and children over 6 years. A Raven experience for ages 12+, Eagle encounters and more. They also have a Junior Falconry experience. Children are given the chance to meet, handle and fly a selection of small birds of prey. This experience is for children under the age of 12.
