Lazonby Swimming Pool

The Lazonby and District swimming pool is located in Lazonby, near Penrith, Cumbria. It is a heated open-air pool and campsite situated beside the River Eden.

The pool is 17 metres by 8 metres and is heated to 24oC. There is a toddler pool with a fountain. The main pool has a depth of 1m in the shallow end with a 2.29m deep end. Only 60 swimmers and spectators are allowed in at a time so they close for further access when the maximum number is reached.

There is a team of fully qualified lifeguards and they have a range of pool toys and floats. There is a picnic area and a big grassed area for games. Plus there is a playground nearby.

There is a kiosk serving snacks, drinks and ice creams (no hot food). You are welcome to picnic outdoors.

Adults £3.50, children £2.50, under 2s are free.
