Things to do at Lickey Hills Country Park review

Lickey Hills Country Park is located near Rednal in the West Midlands. It is a large park of around 524 acres and it is one of the oldest parks managed by Birmingham city council.

The park has woodlands, heathland and grassland which are home to a diversity of wildlife. It is worth speaking to the park rangers in the Visitor centre to find out more information and collect a map to help you get the most out of your visit.

There is a children’s adventure playground and free, table tennis near the visitor centre. There is also a tri-golf course close to the golf clubhouse. This is a mini version of golf designed especially for young children.

Around the park, there are a number of marked walking trails of varying lengths and difficulty. These include circular walks ranging from 1.8 miles to 2.5 miles and 5.6 miles around the park. You can also cycle on a series of bridleways. Please note that cycling is not permitted anywhere other than the bridleways within the park.

The view from Beacon Hill is the most famous viewpoint in the park. From there you can enjoy expansive views of the surrounding countryside.
