Lincolnshire Aquapark and Watersports Lake
Mablethorpe is home to the Lincolnshire Aquapark which also has watersports on the lake. It’s a great family-friendly day out in the warmer months. Situated in the picturesque surroundings of Grange Leisure Park.
Things to do at Lincolnshire Aquapark and Watersports Lake
On the inflatable aquapark, you can climb inside a giant cyclone spinning wheel, brave the slide from the Jungle Joe tower and you can even blast your kids skywards by landing on the blast bag. Rock it is their circular water rocker, you can attempt to ‘walk on water’ and attempt the assault course. You will have to swim to most of these activities. All participants must be 5 years or over and above 1.1m in height. Parents must accompany children aged 5-8 years. All participants must be able to swim 50 metres.
They introduced watersports to their lake in 2020 with paddle boarding, kayaks and pedalos. For first-time paddleboarders, you can book instructor sessions and learn the basic elements of paddleboarding. Sessions are available for 8 years and over. You can also have kayak instructor sessions although this watersport is not as challenging as stand-up paddleboarding.
They also have pedalos which you can hire and they offer open water swimming sessions. There is also a small beach area which is fun for less confident children to enjoy a paddle about in the water.
