Llanerchaeron
Llanerchaeron is a National Trust property located near Lampeter in Ceredigion, Wales. It is an 18th-century estate with an early John Nash villa, a walled garden, an ornamental lake and a home farm.
You can visit the farm where you can see 10 different species of farm animals. They are all traditional breeds including Llanwenog sheep and Welsh pigs. They are housed in the stockyard and in the surrounding buildings that demonstrate what their relationships would have been like between the house, service courtyard and the farm.
The walled garden was built in the late 18th century and they have been producing fruit and vegetables for over 200 years. You can look at some of the more fascinating and important areas of Llanerchaeron including the service courtyard with the dairy, cheese press room, bakehouse, smokehouse and more. The house is also open to visitors. Plus you can explore the gardens, pleasure grounds and the woodland walk.
