Loch Insh Outdoor Centre
The Loch Insh Outdoor Centre is an activity centre located by Loch Insh near Kingussie in the Scottish Highlands. They offer activities on land and on water. Activities on the water include windsurfing lessons. They offer a range of lessons but for adults and children starting out their 2-hour taster sessions are good to start with. These are available from April to October.
They also have stand-up paddleboards, which are also available from April to October. They have adult and child single boards and the hire is for 90 minutes. On-land they offer seasonal, activities. From December through to April, you can try Glice skating. Set beside the loch skating is possible all winter due to the innovative skating surface. The surface absorbs impacts making any slips or trips softer so it’s perfect for beginners and children can try it out from the age of 3.
They also have snowboarding lessons on their dry slope plus snowboard hire. Their 60-metre dry slope is open all year round and children from the age of 8 can join a lesson. Also on the slope, they also offer tubing sessions. Sessions last for 45 minutes and children can take part from the age of 3. 1-hour archery sessions are also available from the age of 8. This is available all year round except for November.
