Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre

The Loch Lomond Bird of Prey Centre is located in Balloch near Alexandria in the Highlands of Scotland. It is an avian centre set within a picturesque national park that features a range of species from owls to hawks.

Situated within the Trossachs National Park and located in the loch-side woodland. It can be found next to the Lomond Shores visitor centre complex which is a unique setting for a family day out. The centre has evolved over the years and has a high standard of cleanliness and welfare for its resident birds.

There are daily shows which are entertaining and informative. They allow visitors to see their magnificent creatures at close quarters while learning more about them. You can follow their new ‘Discovery trail’ and learn more about their birds.

They also offer Bird of prey experiences so you can get even closer to these magnificent creatures. There are a few experiences on offer for children (and adults aged 12 and over). These include Hawk Walk, Meet the Owls, owl encounter and hawk encounter.
