Lochore Meadows Country Park
Lochore Meadows Country Park is located in Crosshill near Lochgelly in Fife. It has over 1,200 acres to explore with a large lake with a loop trail, a golf course, plus fishing and water sports. The beautiful lake is situated at the heart of the park. You can enjoy spending time walking, bird-watching and cycling.
There is a playpark and you can enjoy a picnic or BBQ, they even have a beach. The park has a wide range of habitats including wildflower meadows, parkland and ancient woodlands. Much of the park is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs and they can provide all-terrain mobility scooters.
The park hosts a number of events throughout the year. Fishing can be enjoyed all year round and tickets must be purchased from the visitor centre. There are a wide variety of paths, single-track trails, a skills loop and a bike park, you can even hire one of their bikes. Watersports that can be enjoyed on the lake include sailing, canoeing and kayaking.
