London Bus Museum
Museum Overview
The London Bus Museum is a purpose-built transport museum located in Weybridge, Surrey. It is open to the public and entry is on a joint basis with Brooklands Museum. They have the largest collection of working historic London Buses in the world. While thousands went to the scrap yard some of them found their way here.
At the museum, you can re-live the happy times of travelling as you experience the sights, sounds and smells of a past age. On certain days of the year, they even run bus rides on one of their London buses. Circular tours depart from the main entrance of the museum. Fares are just £2 for an adult and £1 for a child. Book your seats when you arrive at the museum shop.
There are a few other types of buses to see at the museum plus there are some service vehicles, a viewing gallery and more. They have around 35 buses and coaches on display. The vehicles date from around 1875 to 1979 and are arranged in a timeline order.
