Lytham Hall
Lytham Hall is an 18th-century Grade I listed country house and parkland located in Lytham, Lancashire. It has 78 acres of wooded parkland and it was once the ancestral home of the colourful Clifton family, spanning over four centuries.
A Jacobean Manor house was built on the grounds in 1606 and much of this still exists today. The fine Palladian house which stands today was commissioned in 1752. Today you can look around the house and see rooms including the morning room, a dining room, a billiard room and a long gallery. Plus bedrooms, a boudoir, a panelled room, a Chinese bedroom and more. Visits to the house are by organised tours.
Outside over 4km of paths have been recently created to further your enjoyment of the grounds. You can see the mount, the highest point in Lytham, a 19th-century Dovecote, Kitchen gardens and more. Kids and adults alike will love the animal hub. There are pigs, rabbits and two mischievous goats. In the estate, they also host a number of annual events including talks, park runs, family events and more.
