Macduff Marine Aquarium
The Macduff Marine Aquarium is a small visitor attraction located in a picturesque setting next to the sea in Macduff, Aberdeenshire.
You will find the aquarium, situated on the stunning Banffshire Coast and overlooking Scotland’s largest bay. At the aquarium, you will meet all kinds of sea creatures that live in the bay. Their exhibits will lead you from the coastal waters and out to the sea floor. The kelp reef exhibit is the only one of its kind in the UK. at the sea lab, you can see seashore critters up close and observe baby sharks in the hatchery.
You can delve in deeper and join their Marine masters for a touch pool session or a short feed show. Presentations can change daily so it’s a good idea to enquire at reception when you arrive. You can grab a fish finder leaflet from reception and see if you can spot all the different animals, as you explore the aquarium.
