Manor Wildlife Park

The Manor Wildlife Park has Wales’ only walking safari and is located near St Florence in South Wales. The size is perfect for smaller children who easily get bored at bigger zoos. It is a 52-acre zoo and it was bought in 2008 by television presenter Anna Ryder Richardson and Colin MacDougall.
Things to do at Manor Wildlife Park
In Red Panda woods you can meet their two newest arrivals. The exhibit allows you to see the animals from a number of vantage points and also has a small stream for them. There is a walk-through Wallaby safari where you may even be lucky enough to stroke and feed one of their wallabies.
The wildlife park also has a lemur walkthrough, there are benches where you can sit and watch the lemurs playing, the red ruffed lemur has even been known to sit on the bench with you. You can also walk amongst their giant Flemish rabbits, some of whom enjoy being stroked. In their African village, you can wander with goats, sheep and chickens. The Valley of the apes is a lovely woodland area for the gibbons. Other animals include tigers, meerkats, zebra, camels, tapir, llamas and emus.
At the park there is an indoor hay barn, your kids can also have their faces painted. They also have a fun Digiwall challenge which is a new interactive way to climb a wall. Lights guide the way and sounds and music respond to your actions. The Domes is their giant indoor play area that includes a bouncy castle.
The wildlife park also offers animal experiences. These include meeting the red pandas, Siamang gibbon experience, meet the tigers, mini keeper, junior keeper and more. These have an additional charge and age restrictions apply.
