Maths City Leeds
Maths City Leeds is located in the city centre of Leeds, West Yorkshire. They opened in 2021 and they are the UK’s first National Mathematics Discovery Centre. They are mostly aimed at families and although relatively small there is plenty to do.
Things to do at Maths City Leeds
There are all manner of things to explore and learn from. You can climb inside a giant bubble or a kaleidoscope. Or you can try their laser Ring of Fire. There are lots of challenging and fascinating puzzles to solve. The attraction itself is technically just a room in a shopping centre but there is so much to do there and it’s great for getting kids and adults thinking.
Maths City is a fun interactive space where visitors can enjoy and appreciate the power and importance of mathematics. It is not just for children but for adults as well with around 30 different interactive exhibits. Other things to do include bridge building, mirror exhibitions and a huge Newton’s cradle. Tickets must be booked in advance. There is no limit to your stay although visitors typically stay for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
