Meanwood Valley Urban Farm
Meanwood Urban Valley Farm is located in Meanwood near Leeds, West Yorkshire. They are a registered charity and their farm first opened to the public in 1980. They provide a ‘taste of the country’ within the city boundaries.
The farm is set on 26 acres and they have a variety of animals including alpacas, goats, sheep, pigs, hens, donkeys and ducks. It is still a working farm and as well as being able to see some of their animals there is also woodland and gardens to explore.
They provide holiday play schemes and environmental education to schools and they welcome adults with learning disabilities.
