Things to do at Melton Country Park
There are three play areas in the country park all designed with something for all ages. There is the Climbing Forest with various climbing equipment and frames, a nest swing and a zip wire. There is Scalford Brook which includes a wheelchair-friendly roundabout. The third play area is at the visitor centre and near the climbing forest.
For those wanting to keep fit, there is also the Scalford Brook trim trail which is suitable for juniors and adults plus your dog can keep fit on their two-dog agility trails. The park has three gardens: the Baby Loss Memorial Garden, a Sensory Garden and the Covid Memorial Garden. The park also has wildlife lakes, open green space and footpath trails. Plus football pitches and a visitor centre with a cafe.
