Mewsbrook Park

Mewsbrook Park is located in Littlehampton, Sussex. Located just a minute’s walk from the beach it is home to one of the best children’s playgrounds in the area. Located at the north end of the park the adventure playground has swings, slides, climbing apparatus and other fun pieces of play equipment. There is also a permanent children’s quiz trail.

Also in the park, there is the Littlehampton Miniature Railway. This runs along the seafront connecting Norfolk Gardens with the park. Trains run during most weekends and school holidays. Return fares are £3 for adults and £2 for children.

There is a boating lake where you can hire pedalos or boats. This is open from April to September at weekends and school holidays, weather permitting. Prices are £2.50 per child and £3.50 per adult. There are two large grass areas within the park for enjoying football. Make sure you take some duck-friendly food with you. If you don’t have any they sell some in the cafe for just 50p.
