Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre

The Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre is located in Stowmarket, Suffolk. They are home to East Anglia’s premier climbing facility plus other family-friendly attractions.

The Cragg Climbing Wall has 330 square metres of varying climbs and they are suitable for climbers of all abilities including beginners. There are more than 30 lead and top rope lines and a dedicated bouldering wall. Children can take part from the age of 5 and they run lessons for them five days a week.

Also at this centre, there is a recently renovated gym. The centre is also home to three swimming pools and they run a swimming programme for different abilities. The main pool is 25 metres in length and there is also a learner pool and a toddler pool.

Also at this centre, there is a soft play centre. Play World is for children aged 0-12 and there is a dedicated area for the under 5s. The junior play area has three levels with crawl tubes, scramble nets, a 4-lane Astro slide, a climbing wall and a football zone. Plus a ball pool with a ball shower, a ball cannon zone, aerial glide and more.

What are the ticket prices?

Play World – Ages 3-12 are £8.25, under 3s, are £5.40 and adults are free. Casual climbing – Adults are £9 and children are £5.25. Lessons may cost more. Family swimming – £6 per adult and £3 per child. Other activities have a separate charge.
