Midland Karting is an outdoor karting circuit located near Lichfield, Staffordshire. They are a family-friendly venue with over 17 years of karting experience. There are three circuits at this venue. Due to the unique layout and configuration of the site, they can run two circuits independently of each other. There is also the possibility of combining the two circuits to make one larger circuit. They also have floodlights so that they can run daytime and evening events.

Their main circuit is the International circuit. This is for racers ages 12 and over and the track has high-speed straights and fast free-flowing corners. The second circuit is their family circuit. This is shorter and slower and is suitable for adults and children aged 8 and over. It is perfect for families that want to kart together.

The third circuit is their brand new Super circuit. This combines both tracks to give drivers the ultimate challenge. They run family practice sessions, junior and teen track days, one-to-one tuition, a racing academy and Go Karting for people with SEN. They can also host your child’s birthday party.

Also at this venue, they have VR racing simulators. Adults and children can have a go from the age of 8 (minimum height of 1.2m). It is a unique experience that combines the excitement of racing with the latest in virtual reality technology. You will feel like you are really racing on the track.

VR – £15 pp. Family practice karting sessions cost from £20 pp for a 20-minute session. Other sessions are charged separately.
