Millom Heritage and Arts Centre

The Millom Heritage and Arts Centre, formerly the Millom Discovery Centre, is located in Millom in Cumbria. It is a popular museum and heritage hub on Cumbria’s beautiful coast.

The centre is based in a restored railway station and is now almost fifty years old. The accredited museum celebrates a rich, varied and multi-layered past that ranges from the Bronze Age through to the Industrial Renaissance and subsequent decline. Plus the bygone days when sailing ships crowded the harbour and the hidden role RAF Millom played in WWII.

There are interactive displays and a model railway. The museum’s unique collections and artefacts are housed in themed rooms.
